Teenager rescued from pit bull attack
A Florida utility employee rushed to rescue a teenage girl from a pit bull attack. Progress Energy employee Cheryl Peterson was restoring power in an east Orange County neighborhood when she heard the 13-year-old girl screaming for help. Peterson grabbed an animal stick and some pepper spray as the girl was climbing on top of a car to escape the dog. Peterson was able to protect the girl until a neighbor brought the dog under control. She was pleading for someone to help her. She had a gash on her inner thigh already and some other bites, Peterson said. He’s a good dog. We never had a problem with him. He never attacked anybody, dog owner Luis Bedoya said. The dog was placed in quarantine until Animal Services can determine if he should be classified as a dangerous animal. The owner, who is the victims uncle, would have to meet strict safety standards. He said hell do whatever it takes to get his dog back.

YOU BET! And I have sent thank you cards to the Texas Legislature making the OWNER 100% responsible for what their pittie does. Already through this new law a couple was sentenced to SIX YEARS in prison for their pittie mauling a child. GLORY! And I applaud home owner insurance companies denying people coverage if they own a pit bull. For obvious reasons-THEY have to pay for the damages these vicious dogs do!

I would 100% support shipping all pit bulls to China-plenty of hungry mouths to feed. Too bad America hasn’t legalized pitbull dog meat. With so many getting destroyed in pounds (60-70% are pitbulls or pit mixes) and those are VERY heavy dogs-it would give plenty of hamburger for a lot of people who enjoy eating meat. Of course since I never eat anything from an animal, I would find it repugnant.

These owners are Most of the time irresponsible owners who really want a dog for either attention, protection without knowing the proper care and needs the dog needs. I guess Pit Bulls should be banned Jack Russell Terriers should be banned too. As well as all TERRIERS. If small Terriers were the size of Pits it would be the other way around. Research Terriers and then post a comment.

BEDLAS07. Blame the owners for not taking the necessary training a TERRIER. You never hear Pit Bulls having a LAW which states that they can’t with children unsupervised under the age of 6. Why? Jack Russell Terriers have been known to kill kids who accidentally or purposely pulled the dogs ears. Don’t blame the breed or dog for irresponsible owners and what to do if these things happen. Most dog attacks are caused by irresponsible owners or inbred dogs. Research before you open your mouth.

HOMEOWNER’s insurance HAS done their research. Pitties are banned from a lot of policies. If you have a pitbull-they can deny you home owner’s insurance. Or deny paying for a claim when the pittie bites an unsuspecting kid or anybody else! And I applaud Texas for making dog owners responsible for crimes dogs do as though the owner has done it!! YES!!!

They’re not naturally like that. They’re a terrier. Their at top of the list because of irresponsible owners/inbred dogs. You never hear about the JRT bites that literally kill kids. If JRTs were the same size as pits hell if Yorkies were the same size as Pits it would be the Yorkies and Jack Russell terriers taking the rap Pits are. Jack Russell Terriers have been known to kill one another having them alone with each over a toy possession. Blame the owners not the breed.

All you moron pitbull zealots who claim these dogs are SO great apparently have NO compassion for the victims in these attacks. Several children have lost their lives to pitbull attacks and it was the DOG who killed the child, NOT THE OWNERS! When I shoot a pitbull, it’s ME who killed the dog, NOT my gun. These fucking pitbulls are unpredictable at best and I guarantee they kill more people/children than a little jack russel terrier. The DEED is comitted by the BREED!

But they wouldn’t be doing the deed if people actually loved there dogs and gave a dog what it needed. They’re not unpredictable. All dog attacks can be prevented by what’s called Temperament Tests. Training, love, socialization and an early age. They made that to be permanent that pit bulls were made to not be human aggressive. They had to be because the owners couldn’t afford fighting them and the dogs turning on them. If any dog did they would be put down.

My brother doesn’t like pit bulls but his uncle is a dog whisperer. Not that famous but he’s well known in his community to be a dog psychologist. He said pit bulls are NOT unpredictable. They’re bred or made into attack dogs. Almost all he said of ‘vicious’ pit bull media news covers can be de bunked but they never tell you what exactly happen. It’s always dog turned and attacked when really most of the time somethnig else provoked it. Almost all Pit Bulls who turn on owner is 9/10 inbred blood

Apparently Cptlncaino is a world renowned expert in Pitbulls and has several publications proving that HE’S an expert on the breed and all of us who fail to believe this is a “great breed of dog” should just ignore it when these dogs maim/kill people. According to people like him…they provoked the dog and had it coming anyway. According to him, we should pamper these dogs when they attack, not euthanize them. Maybe rehabilitate them, because it’s ALWAYS the owners fault, not the dogs.

Rehabilitation is sometimes unsuccessful, with any kind of dog. You can fuck up so much if you don’t raise them well.

That guy should be locked up and never let out. I don’t blame the dog I blame the stupid owner. I was attack by dogs when I was a child and seeing this makes me sick!!!!!!!!!!
