Does dog reppellent pepper spray work on people?

It does work on people. I have no idea about the law in NY. My daughter keeps a mini pepper spray on her key ring because her job includes working outside a couple of days a week. There’s always a possibility that a dog will take a dislike to you. Anyway, some guy tried to mug her when she was getting in her car on night. She sprayed his face full of spray and left him screaming on the ground as she drove off. This was a few years back now. I wouldn’t think it would be a good practice to use it often, but it’s gotta be safer than getting gun shot or taz’d.
