dog repellent spray
Are there any sprays that scare away cats and foxes, but won’t bother a rabbit? I’d like to get a bunny and build a run for her in my back garden, and I was hoping there’s an easy way to stop predators trying to break in.

My Dogs are constantly irritated by flies/gnats (not swarming, just a little bit by their heads) outside as they sleep, would it be safe if I lightly sprayed some insect repellent on them? I’m obviously not going to douse them in it.
Harmless?

I have a 7-year old male tabby who’s been obsessed with going out the front door of every apt I’ve lived in. He’s always been an indoor cat but will sit at the front door and meow at the top of his lungs. When he’s not meowing, he’s clawing the carpet & has dug a whole in the carpet by the front door of my last three apts. I’ve tried spraying repellent I bought at my local pet store which is supposed to deter cats and dogs from scratching & biting but it only works for a few minutes and then he’s back to work. I try to play with him as much as I can when I get home. I do have another cat but she’s 16 years old and has no interest in playing with him. I’d love to get another cat for him to play with because he LOVES to play but I live in a small apt and 3 cats seems a bit much. Any suggestions?
He is neutered and does not live in a neighborhood where I can let him out unless I want him to get run over by a car.

our 6yo female Rhodesian Ridgeback suffers badly from midgies or some such thing constantly biting at her. No, it’s not fleas. We’ve done heaps of flea treatments, regular frontline etc, and can’t see any on her. Our other male dog does not get bothered at all. the other possibility is a grass allergy but I don’t think so. Anyone got any good ideas for treating this, either through diet or something else? Our vet told us to spray her with pest repellent but this is tiresome and she hates it, and it can’t be good for her on a twice daily basis.
She has a good diet and I feed her lots of chicken, rice and vegies. We do give them a little (high quality) dry food for our busy days, but generally I prefer to feed them food I prepared myself. I will remove all processed pet food from her diet and see if this helps.
"hives" would manifest as little red dots though??
"midgies" refers to those little bitey insects that are very, very small, like sandflies, only we’re not at the beach. she bites at her flesh constantly, and scrathes. I have tried an oil mix with lavender, tea tree and neem oils. See how that goes.
I think if it was a grass allergy there’d be a rash or something? there is no rash.

We just moved into a new house and dont have a backyard fence yet so I have to take all 3 of my dogs out on leashes to go potty. Pretty much everytime I go out there I get bit. I cant spray mosquito repellent on me several times a day everyday, that’d be super unhealthy. So is there any more natural ways of getting rid of them?

dog repellent spray
I got two cats in March, and a dog a few days ago.
One of my cats has always had the desire to pee on soft items that are not permanently in the living space. He has never peed on the carpeting, couch, or pillows on the couch, but he has peed on blankets on the floor and in my backpack on the floor.
This was tolerable because I could just make sure nothing out of the ordinary was on the floor.
Well, now he’s decided he’s gonna pee on the dog’s bed, which is a big cushion. Any blanket or bed I leave in the dog’s crate he will pee on. I want to keep the dog’s crate open so he can go in and out. I don’t think it’s a territory issue since he did it before the dog.
Short of the spray bottle, which I can only do if I catch him, and he doesn’t seem to give a s*** about, is there anything I can do? I don’t want the bed ruined totally.
Is there a pet repellent only for cats that won’t bug my dog?
Thanks!
I guess I should add that there are two litter boxes, two different kinds of litter, both of which he uses, and I am super clean with them (every day cleaning).
He has been to the vet and has no urinary tract infection. It is really JUST on out of place cloth items. Argh.

I have a house dog and he has fleas! He’s a schnauzer. He’s had fleas for a while…More than 8 months really. We have a special flea and tick killing shampoo and we bathe him in the shampoo about once every two weeks. When I bathe him I see the dead fleas rise on top of his coat. I only see about 2-3 everytime but at least I know it’s working.
Even after I bathe him he still scratches. I wait a few days and he continues to scratch…It only gets worse with time. He doesn’t scratch as much after I bathe him but all in all he still does it.
I wash all of his things in hot water everytime I bathe him. And I spray a flea repellent on him…I’ve even used a flea collar in addition to all this but he still seems to have fleas on him.
The culprit might be the carpet. He loves to go in my brothers room and sleep on his carpet. The fleas are probably in the carpet but he won’t stay out of there.
ANY ideas for removing the fleas from my dog and my house? I really hate to see my dog suffer.
He’s around 7 years old btw.
