I was asleep and just woke up by irritation in my armpit. I scratched it, went back to sleep, and woke up 5 minutes later.
Then i realized i had several bumps on my body:
A few around my armpit, one near my shoulder, and one on my foot that i had scratched for a couple of days [2-3]

I have a dog, and she has been scratching and itching herself a lot, so i visited Petco last week, and got her a flea and tick repellent spray, and it seems to be working.

But right now i think i have flea bites around me?

My brother has a "disease" where parts of his body forms abscesses and he HAS had surgery to drain one, but he has many more, but he drained them himself.

I am afraid i could have an abscess or a flea bite, please, i am very afraid, pictures of the bite are below.

If you cant see, they are fairly red, they are bumpy, and they have small holes at the top

I used my common sense and jumped it the shower, stripped my bed, [pillow cases, bed cover, blanket cover] and changed my clothes. but when i awoke, they were extremely red and i’m glad i took a shower because they’ve calmed down a little.

PLEASE HELP ME. THIS IS NOT A JOKING MATTER.
Should i use hydroxide?? I have it downstairs, and i’ll wait for permission from answers.
What ointment, spray, repellent could you recommend?

PLEASE, give thorough answers and advice on how to soothe my irritation until the morning!!

my 12 month old boarder collie is a big poo-eater. we have had her for 3 months. she was an outside dog hence not toilet trained. she has learned to do number ones outside on command, but no #2′s!

i train by positive reinforcement. anytime she "goes" outside, praise&treat. i take her out regulary, and have the door open. she is still going inside.

we cut her down to 1 meal a day to help her get through the night as this worked with our other dogs. we blocked off the area she was toileting in. we used pet repellent spray. now she is eating her poo. she is fed a high fibre diet, which keep dogs feeling "full". i have other dogs on the same food without this problem, so don’t think its a question of nutrition.

i am trying to pick the poo up as soon as possible, but she is eating it as soon as she "goes". i try to be with her as often as possible but she can do 4 large "parcels" in a night! shes is wormed, dosed, healthy, active..

any ideas?
exercise: she runs with our other dog for about 2 hours a day. also does agility training twice a week.

nutrition: i’m completely happy with the food shes getting. our other dogs eat the same and all have heaps of energy, great coats, bright eyes etc. i’ve been adding vet-perscribed sprinkle (tried a couple of different ones) to her food to make her #2′s bitter tasting etc, but without sucess! also tried pineapple, spinach and pumpkin.

crate training: she likes her crate, and sleeps in their voluntarily, but still does #2′s in there. have reduced size so she is only just able to turn around also.

I live in 2 bedroom Apartment with my 2 dogs.

My kitchen infested with roaches from summer till today and my room also infested with flies and I notice some of roaches in my room.

I tried so many Roach / Flies killer / repellent but it seems doesnt work. From spray, powder, fog. The roaches and flies die but after that they coming back.

Im sick and tired of cleaning up dead flies and roaches.

Glue sticky paper only traps some of flies but It wont make files go away from my room.

I read some articles online.

It says that

Mixture of Tabasco sauce + Water + Dish soap will repel roaches.

Does anyone ever try that method?

Does that also works to repel flies?

and how effective it is?

Should I spray every day / week with that mixture?

I took my dog to a party last week (thursday). In short, their dog had fleas and I just found out yesterday when I saw a bug on him and he was itching constantly. I mentioned this to my friend and they acted so casual about it.

Anyway, I went and bought Comfortis and gave it to him about 12 hours ago. Also have sprayed the house with flea repellent, good for 7 months.

I only have seen one bug one bug ever, but 12 hours later he is still constantly itching. I haven’t bathed him (as I’ve been cleaning all the bed sheets, linens and what not. He sleeps in my bed which was just dry cleaned today and I don’t know if he should be sleeping with me until the problem is gone.

Why is he still itching?!

I have tried the Coleus Canina (piss off plant, cat be gone plant) plant, powdered lemon peel and orange peel (heard they don’t like citrus). Wiped all outdoor furniture with lemon ammonia. Spilled some vinegar off to the side of my patio. NOTHING IS WORKING!!!!
I dont want to hurt the stray cats and dont want any electronic or water spray recommendations. I have nothing against cats but there are 10-12 stray cats that roam and poop all over my property and they might be sick.
Animal control completely unhelpful and told me to set my own traps which would go over great with my HOA!

I have a dog and he pees all over the area. That they come around.

These cats are crazy nothing works!!!! They run from my dog but are back whenever he isn’t around even if he pees all over the area. I live in a condo so I can’t leave my dog out there or use any spray devices due to the HOA rules. I need something, ANYTHING!!!

Completely stuck here please help!!! I would even some strange witches brew at this point.

My dog has a severe allergy to flea bites. The Vet has suggested different allergy medications to control the itching (benadryl, etc.), we tried a few topical sprays that were recommended by the Vet. Nothing works. The Vet has given her a couple of steriod injections and said it would give her some relief. It didn’t and I don’t want her to have any more steroids. The Vet doesn’t have any more suggestions other than putting her on harsh medications. Frontline only kills the fleas after they bite. It’s my poor dog that concerns me. She is scratching herself raw. Does anyone have any remedies that have worked? I’ve done vinegar rinses, tea tree oil rubs, anti-itch shampoos, the allergy pills, the topical sprays and nothing helps. Also, I was wondering if anyone had a good flea repellent that is safe to put on my dog.
We have tented the house and sprayed the yard for fleas. We live in a rural area and it’s impossible to get rid of all the fleas. I tried Frontline, Advantage and Revolution. The problem is a flea bite allergy and not food allergy.

Honestly, some days I dont even feel safe walking around my own neighborhood. Dogs charge at me all of the time.
I need something that will deter them completely. Im not talking about a whistle used for training your dog to stop barking; I need something that can be used as self defense against a dangerous and attacking dog. I dont care if it harms the dog or causes serious damage (its my safety over theirs).

Pepper spray has been suggested, but im worried about not being able to aim with enough accuracy given that a dog can charge at me pretty fast. Do ultrasonic devices like the dazer 2 work for repelling aggressive dogs?
If military grade dog repellent exists, then thats what I want! What do police and postal service workers use?

By the way, dont bother suggesting therapy or revising my ethics towards the treatment of attacking dogs (if a dog attacks me, it is NOT innocent). I will not even consider these suggestions.

Oh also, I dont like the idea of hitting the dog and relying on the force of the blow. In my experience swinging or even just carrying such a weapon can be perceived by the dog as being more threatening, making it more likely to attack.

i have a 2.5 year old female yellow lab. she is spayed and has been so since she was 4 months old.

every time i take her over my in-laws to go swimming, their male black lab (2 years old) goes crazy for her. he is not neutered and it has gotten to the point that she cannot not go anywhere without him pinning her to the ground and trying to mate with her. im starting to worry that he may eventually injure her, or worse, drown her as he attempts to do the same thing in the pool.

i originally thought that they just had a super "horny" dog, however, every so often their male springer spaniel (7 years old) will join in on the action. they both approach her as if she is giving off some kind of odor. is this possible with a spayed female dog?

if anyone has any experience with this please let me know. i am desperate to resolve the situation. perhaps there are some sprays or repellents i can use on her? i don’t want to stop going over there as my dog loves to swim!
